Did you know that God wants to grant all of your prayers? If we ask according to His will we can have what we pray for! (1John 5:14) The tricky part is, we don't always know God's perfect will in every situation. That is where the Holy Spirit comes in. Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. Romans 8:26-27

Put the Holy Spirit first in your prayer time. The Apostle Paul writes, "What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also." 1Corinthians 14:15. Pray in the Spirit until the understanding comes. Faith begins where the will of God is known. The Holy Spirit will bring Scripture to your memory. He will give revelation and illumination of God's Word so that you will be able to pray with confidence that your prayer is lining up with the Word.

The Holy Spirit will supercharge your faith! But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit. Jude 1:20. It was the Holy Spirit who anointed Jesus to go about doing good and healing all who were oppressed of the devil. (Acts 10:38) It was the Holy Spirit who raised Jesus up from the dead. (Romans 8:11) That same Spirit lives in you! He will infuse your faith with supernatural power as you yield your tongue to pray in the Spirit!
