Jesus Knows
For we have not an high
priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but
was in all points tempted like as
we are, yet
without sin.
(Heb 4:15 KJV)
For in that he himself hath
suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
(Heb 2:18 KJV)
Jesus knows and understands
our weaknesses, in fact as a man He experienced them but never gave in
to temptation and never sinned, so now He can understand our weaknesses
and how we feel. Now we have a merciful and faithful High Priest to
represent us before God.
What a wonderful and
awesome God we serve, that He would be willing to leave His Throne and
become a man, to suffer and die on the cross despising the shame yet
because of His great love for us He willingly gave Himself for us.
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of
our faith; who for the joy that was
set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down
at the right hand of the throne of God.
