4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence;
For out of it are the issues of life.
Guard your
heart, meditate on God’s Word read His Word daily, pray and fill your
heart with good things because what you put into your heart is what will
come out of your mouth.
Like a gardener
tends his garden we must tend to our hearts and only plant good seeds
there and pull the weeds as soon as we spot them, if we don’t the weeds (bad
things) will choke out the good plants or things in our hearts and they
will overrun the garden of our hearts and flow out from our mouth’s;
And he called to him the multitude, and said unto
them, Hear, and understand:

not that which entereth into the mouth defileth the
man; but that which proceedeth out of the mouth, this defileth the man.

For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts,
murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railings:

these are the things which defile the man; but to
eat with unwashen hands defileth not the man.

So pull out the weeds, cultivate the ground
(repent) and plant good seed (God’s Word) and you will be blessed!
