(14)  Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? or what communion hath light with darkness?

(15)  And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what portion hath a believer with an unbeliever?

Just imagine the grief and trouble we would save ourselves if we would just learn to be obedient to God's Word, instead we often think we know better or that we are the exception to the rule. We fail to understand that God has given us His Word to guide us and to keep us from things that could ultimately harm or destroy our lives, ministries, our relationship with Him or other's.

We seem to think that God just does not want to us to have fun or to be happy, but I assure you this is not the case. Those things or relationships we think we can't live without ultimately bring us more grief and pain then good and because God knows the consequences of the choices we would or could make He has given us instruction through His Word keep us from the consequences of wrong relationships and choices.

How much grief and sorrow we would save ourselves if we would just learn to trust Him and obey His Word. God Bless!
