Wages of Sin
Have you not just now called to me, 'My father, you are the friend
of my youth (Jeremiah 3:4 ESV)
will he be angry forever, will he be indignant to the end?' Behold,
you have spoken, but you have done all the evil that you could."
(Jeremiah 3:5 ESV)
My friend God even sees those so called secret sins. If you are a
Christian and there is any unconfused sin no matter how insignificant it
may seem I urge you to repent and confess it to the Lord and He will
forgive and restore you;
If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is
not in us. (1 John 1:8 ESV)
If you are reading this and you
are not a Christian I encourage you to turn from your sins (repent) and
confess them to God and ask Him for forgiveness. Place your faith and
trust in Jesus Christ who paid the penalty for your sins by shedding His
Blood and dying on the Cross, offering Himself in your place. He
satisfied the requirements of God’s Law which requires the death penalty
for those who break the Law.
My friend God is not just a Loving God He is also Holy, Just and
perfectly good, and because He is Holy, Just and perfectly good He
cannot and will not overlook or arbitrarily dismiss our sins. If God
were to overlook our sins, if He does not uphold His Law then He would
cease to be Good, Holy and Just and he Himself would become guilty of
sin because He would be breaking His Word making Him a liar, since He
His law requires that sinners be punished;
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal
life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
(Romans 6:23 ESV )
My friend God has done
everything He could now it is up to you, He Loves us and does not want
us to perish or end up in Hell. Now the choice is yours God has given us
free will and will not force us into Heaven but He has opened the way
for us now it is up to you.
"Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins
are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red
like crimson, they shall become like wool.
(Isaiah 1:18 ESV)
